/RO: Miercuri, 17 iulie 2019, începând cu ora 19:00, MNAC te invită să descoperi cel mai recent proiect al curatoarei taiwaneze Yunnia Yang, The In-Between State of Mind, care cercetează statutul contemporan al artei în Europa de Est și în Rusia. Evenimentul prezintă o serie de proiecții de film urmate de o prelegere susținută de curatoarea Yunnia Yang.

Yunnia Yang este curator, istoric de artă și critic de artă și își desfășoară activitatea în Taipei, Taiwan. A organizat în Taiwan expoziții pe diverse teme, spectacole și evenimente de artă. Din 2011 a început cercetarea curatorială pe termen lung intitulată „Condiția postmodernă în arta contemporană din Rusia și Europa de Est”, fiind invitată să împărtășească, în cadrul Festivalului „World Cultures” din Hong Kong (2013), cercetările și experiența acumulate pe parcursul a doi ani petrecuți în Rusia și în Europa de Est.
Cel mai recent proiect curatorial al Yunniei Yang este proiectul de cercetare video în Europa de Est / Rusia „The In-Between State of Mind”, comisionat de Festivalul de Film de Artă „Asolo”, ed.36, în 2018, pentru programul special al BRICS ART (6-10 iunie 2018). În 2019, „The In-Between State of Mind” va fi vizionat și expus în Germania, Letonia, Slovenia și Ungaria.

Yunnia Yang is a curator, art historian and art critic based in Taipei, Taiwan. She organized many types of exhibitions, performances, and art events in Taiwan. In 2011, she started the long-term curatorial research on The Postmodern Condition in Contemporary Art in Russia and Eastern Europe.
The Hong Kong World Cultures Festival in 2013 focused on the “Long-lasting Legacies in Eastern Europe” theme, and Yunnia Yang was invited as a guest speaker to share her research and observations acquired over two years spent in Russia and Eastern Europe.
Her latest curatorial project is the Eastern European / Russian video research “The In-Between State of Mind” commissioned by the 36th edition of the Asolo Art Film Festival in 2018 for the BRICS ART special program. In 2019, The In-Between State of Mind will be screened and exhibited in Germany, Latvia, Slovenia, and Hungary.
