MAMA: Nuclear este o continuare a spectacolului MAMA, produs în anul 2020 de către aceeași echipă artistică, un spectacol pe un format similar, într-un sequel, dezvoltând personajele din spectacolul anterior și ducându-le într-o nouă direcție, un spectacol despre prezent și despre posibilele scenarii ale unui dezastru nuclear fictiv anunțat și așteptat. Proiectul pornește de la premiza că reprezentarea evenimentelor din trecut (sau mai bine zis reprezentarea trecută a viitorului) poate funcționa ca un instrument în înțelegerea situațiilor actuale prin distanțarea adusă de elementele comice, anacronice, performative și de trecerea timpului. Punerea în scenă urmează de la distanță piesa Mutter Courage, scrisă de Bertolt Brecht în 1939.
MAMA: Nuclear aduce în actualitate tematica prăfuită radioactiv a unei catastrofe atomice, folosind cultura pop și reacțiile la pericolul real al unui posibil război nuclear, de la poetul cincizecist uitat, Eugen Jebeleanu, la Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970), de la Secretul armei secrete (1988) la tunelul energetic din Bucegi.

MAMA: Nuclear is a sequel to MAMA, produced in 2020 by the same artistic team, a show on a similar format, in a sequel, developing the characters from the previous show and taking them in a new direction, a show about the present and the possible scenarios of a fictional nuclear disaster announced and expected. The project starts from the premise that the representation of past events (or rather the past representation of the future) can function as a tool in understanding present situations by distancing them from comic, anachronistic, performative elements and the passage of time. The staging follows from a distance the play Mutter Courage, written by Bertolt Brecht in 1939.
MAMA: Nuclear brings the radioactive dusty theme of an atomic catastrophe into the present, using pop culture and reactions to the real danger of possible nuclear war, from the forgotten fifteenth-century poet Eugen Jebeleanu to Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970), from The Secret of the Secret Weapon (1988) to the Bucegi energy tunnel.
